One recurring style that we've seen over the last several years comprises a large sweater with an even larger scarf. The amount of fluff is undoubtedly warm and snuggly, but most notably, it looks good and is easy to put together, which is why everyone does it.
For this particular outfit, we shrugged an open emerald green sweater over a blue floral shirt. One may consider the color combo odd, but adding a long blanket scarf with a variation of both tones ties everything together. The contrasting prints of small florals and bold plaid even "match" since the different sizes don't overwhelm one another. Classic dark blue skinnies allow a continuation of the top to the bottom, and the cognac riding boots and bag offer an appropriate pop of color.
There are a million different ways to recreate this standard and chic ensemble. Do you prefer matching pieces together or do you like mixing it up? Let us know in the comments below!
