The Marvelous Miss Maddy

Happy Thursday everyone! We apologize for the lack of posts over the last week, but it's been super busy out in the real world with work, pool parties, and whatnot. We're gearing up for what will probably be the hottest week in the Chicagoland area, so stay cool folks! (Isn't it insane to think we've gone through a -55 degree polar vortex and now a 100 degree heat wave between the last six months?!)

We decided to break protocol today by not featuring Taylor or Sue, but rather MADDY! Maddy often helps us out with photography and is a filmmaker in her own right (she is actually participating in the Dallas 48 Hour Film Project this weekend, so be sure to wish her luck in the comments below!), and she also has some serious fashion sense. Prior to our Las Vegas trip, Maddy debuted a new outfit she purchased during a shopping spree, which included the following: a cool pinstriped top from Dry Goods, light-wash jean shorts from American Eagle Outfitters, a braided brown belt from Aeropostale, suede Steve Madden ankle boots, gold jewelry, and a leather bag from H&M. The sunglasses came from an unknown store at the Water Tower Place in downtown Chicago, but they're so awesome and funky, how could we NOT feature them?!

Effortless and laid-back, and very expressive of Maddy's personality. Remember, your style should be your own, not anyone else's!
