Stripes on Sundays

Good afternoon everyone! We apologize for ghosting y'all for the last few weeks, but pinky promise it won't happen again. We are incredibly excited to kick off the fall season with a variety of fashion, home decor, and wedding posts that we hope you'll love. Stay tuned as we'll be releasing new content every week!

Although we usually regard the 1st of September as the beginning of autumn, let's face the facts: the equinox doesn't hit until the 23rd, which means it's technically still summer. And if you're in the Chicagoland area, summer is radiating through abundant sunshine and warm temperatures. We're happy that we've been able to keep our pool open and enjoy swimming before it's time to close up for the year!

This past Sunday, Taylor and Ashton went to Crate and Barrel to register for their June 2020 wedding. Following their early morning registry event, they had lunch at the store's brand new restaurant, The Table at Crate, and later checked out several other stores at Oakbrook Center. For their morning adventures, Taylor wore a strapless maxi dress with black and white stripes from Altar'd State, Maddy's denim jacket from Aeropostale, a black crossbody bag by Kate Spade, and simple black flip flops from Walmart. Comfortable, casual, and a great way to blend the end of summer with the beginning of fall!
